How do Home Shielders’ mouse repellents work?

Some mouse repellents use ultrasonic frequencies, inaudible to humans to scare off mice. Other devices use vibration and some use a combination of the two.

Mice are very nervous creatures so any sound or experience they aren’t used to will scare them away. That’s how our humane mouse repellents work.

Home Shielders stocks indoor mouse repellents that can be used in areas frequented by mice and other pests. They are harmless to humans and pets, so can be used anywhere, at any time.

We also stock outdoor mouse repellents that work in your yard. Place them in positions frequented by pests and they would work accordingly.

As long as any sensor used by the device can detect mice or other rodents, they should begin reducing your problem almost immediately.

Do mice repellents work on other animals too?

Some of our pest repellents can work on rats, snakes, raccoons, possums and other small mammals. As long as they are sited properly so they can detect activity and perform their work, they can protect your family from a range of mammals, birds, reptiles and insects.

Do mice repellents need mains electricity?

None of our mice repellents require electricity but some can benefit from it. Depending on the specific product, it will either be solar or battery powered. Some have a secondary connection for electricity that can provide a lower maintenance deterrent.
